The Kapila & Nirmal Hingorani Foundation Pegasus Scholarship Programme

This programme is being run in collaboration with the prestigious Pegasus Scholarship Trust. The programme is intended to provide young lawyers in India with first-hand experience of the working of the legal system in England and Wales over a period of eight weeks, while young legal practitioners from England and Wales would be provided an opportunity to witness the Indian legal system on a reciprocal basis.  Click here for more details

Warwick University

The School of Law, Warwick University has, in collaboration with the Foundation, incorporated Indian Public Interest Litigation in its LLM programme by way of the Kapila & Nirmal Hingorani Memorial Workshop. The Foundation provides the faculty to run the Workshop, which is open to all LLM students.

The School of Law, Warwick University, has established two The Kapila & Nirmal Hingorani Public Interest Litigation Internships for its LLM students. The School of Law, in consultation with the Foundation, will sponsor two students to visit India over a period of two to three weeks to conduct research and to do an empirical study as part of their dissertation. The Foundation will structure the programme around the students' research interests. The programme will usually involve opportunities to see Indian Public Interest Litigation advocacy in action, and to engage with various stakeholders in the particular field of interest.
